Bean Hummus

Hello Everyone! How is life? What’s new and amazing to share?

I want to say that I got my new passion – bean and grains, honestly, this culinary field is unbelievable wide! Every time when I cook something new and amazing with bean I celebrate because I believe that every skipped “meat meal” at least once a week provides huge benefits to our body (cholesterol) and planet (CO2 from meat factories and pollution form farms, except clean organic grass-fed one but they are minorities)

Today I want to introduce you Hummus made from Beans! I’d just tried to use usual Navy Beans instead of chick peas and the result turned to be deliciously amazing! Must-must try!

  • Canned Navy Bean – 1 can
  • Sesame oil – 2 table spoons
  • Olive oil – about 1/2 cup
  • Lemon zest and juice – 1/2 pc
  • Sesame seeds – 2 table spoons
  • Salt – to taste
  • Cumin – 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander – 1 teaspoon
  • Tahini – 1/4 cup

Blend everything together till smooth pasty consistency in a food processor about 5 minutes to get smooth consistency. Serve as a spread or a dipping sauce for vegetables and chips. Or use as a sauce for other dishes!
